Rockets defeat Cougars 4 3 Hockey News
Kris Westblom made 29 saves in regulation, and two more in the shootout, as the Kelowna Rockets defeated the Prince George Cougars 4-3 in WHL action Wednesday.
Kelowna's Cody Almond and Saulietis each scored in the shootout.
Kaspars Saulietis, Kirt Hill and Brett Breitkreuz scored in regulation for the Rockets.
Nick Drazenovic, Eric Hunter and Jordie Deagle replied for Prince George, while Real Cyr stopped 14 of 17 shots in goal.
Devin Setoguchi and Drazenovic both missed in the shootout for Prince George. The Cougars (4-5-0-2) get a point for the shootout loss, so the Rockets (3-6-0-2) remain two points behind their B.C. Division rival.
